I suppose that the occasional dead blog period is inevitable given that I chose to have a kid, start a company, and buy a house in the same year. Rest assured that despite my poor digital resolution I am in fact beavering away on a shiny Good Thing.
Transmutable's grown in such a way that the majority of the company has PhDs and I'm now merely the talking head whom they send away to a conference (that's what I call the coffee shop) when there's real work to be done. I feel some pride that Ian hasn't revoked my commit rights, but I'm almost certain that will change when he sees my feeble attempts at collision detection.
The car I drove up from CA finally gave up the ghost so we replaced it with a little red LEV and took it to Portland where the river side development reminds me of the huge uprush of buildings South of SoMa (SoSoMa?). I wonder if the debt squeeze is going to stop some of that development before the concrete sets and we'll see another flourish of cheap space for new companies which make cheap soft and bioware.
